Almost makes up for the fact we spent our entire shopping trip trying to block out the sounds of the Hillbilly Festival. The country muso’s have overtaken both the towns shopping precedents and made staying at home for the rest of the holidays seemingly appealing. In conclusion, please keep us Mildurian teenagers in your prayers as we struggle to survive the week. :P

Port Adelaide won the footy grand final. All I have to say on the matter is I’m glad Brisbane got their asses kicked, I like them less than I like Port Adelaide, and that’s saying something. Plus, Brisbane got the last three premierships, it was nice to see the new guys win one…

I spent this afternoon messing around with lodging my first tax return. That was a task and a half. I didn’t even know what a tax free threshold was, let alone whatever the hell the Medicare Levy Surcharge was… but I think I figured it all out properly. My cousin spent $80 and got an accountant to do hers for her, I felt so accomplished, especially doing it all by myself, and honestly, I can’t have messed it up that much. :P
I also got my own Medicare card today… I feel as if I’m getting old, this taking responsibility for my own actions thing is… well, different.
I’m so proud of me. I did four hours of Biology revision before… well yes, there really is a first time for everything.

Can’t sleep. Drunken neighbours being rowdy and feral. They could at least have the decency to sing in TUNE! Some people. If I wasn’t such a lazy bitch I’d take my stereo outside and crank it to the max, just to piss them off. But then again even on high volume I doubt they’d be drowned out. Honestly. It’s a Tuesday night for crying out loud.

Anway, I’m going to go watch Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Aimee lent it to me yesterday, supposedly tis quite good. :)

Last night was a really dodgy night. We all got home in one peice. Barely.
Last day of the school term tomorrow! Time for a break! Not that it’s going to be much of a break, more like, two whole weeks where I get to dictate when and where I do work. Kind of sucky really… Exams begin November 1st… Revision is the word of the day.
BUT. That can all wait till Monday. Time to party.
Lozz’s 18th with the girls on Saturday night! Crashing back at Danielles afterwards… Jess has decided to put aside both her reputation and stubborness and come out with us! Should be fun. I plan to behave myself. Honest. :P
