I’m okay, if you get me at a good angle.
Nothing pisses me off more than my 12 year old sister giving me lectures on how I’m not the “Miss. Perfect” I make out to be.
I never said that, and I know more so than anyone else how far those stupid sorts of statements are from the truth. I really wish my family would learn to give a little. I know I’m not perfect, and I don’t need to hear it from her. It’s patronising, condescending, and quite simply, rubs me up the wrong fucking way… It’s not like she’s the pinnacle of all that’s perfect.
A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to “honor” thy Father and they Mother, she asked, “Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?” Without missing a beat one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, “Thou shall not kill…”
