You’re a stranger in a country town.

So I’m a couple of days late on the sometimes overdone “Farewell 2005, welcome 2006″ post, but I suppose here goes nothing…
2005, right now, sits as possibly both the best year, and the worst year, I’ve had to date. So much has happened, so much has changed, you could probably even say I grew up (just a little anyway…)
The following are just some of the things I’ll always remember about “last year…”
- Nan’s death. For the past few years it’d been me and Nan, looking out for each other and I miss her incredibly.
- Adam. He makes me happy. :)
- Ben Folds. With Jess and Jemma. For so long we talked about a concert road trip. This year we actually did it.
- The Lion King. Melbourne trip with Adam. First “holiday.” Being drenched by torrential rain in the CBD… winning money at Crown… seeing the Lion King.T’was all awesome.
- VCE. Finshed my thirteenth year of schooling, attaining VCE scores I’m actually happy with.
Anway, Merry New Year’s, and I hope you achieve whatever it you’ve got planned for the next few hundred days…Â
