I think I’ll go home and mull this over.
After almost a year of excruciating pain and endless suffering, we finally got fed up with our incredibly out-dated dial up internet connection. Well to be honest, really it was me doing most of the getting fed up. The boy was happy to wait until April when our current internet/home phone bundle contract expires before we moved to a broadband connection; however… with me being me (incredibly impatient & unquestionably stubborn), a few days ago I dragged the boy down to an Optus World where we signed up for a new home phone and shiny new super-fast ADSL2+ DSL Direct bundled connection. We also hooked it up to Adam’s mobile which means he gets a $5 credit on his bill each month which should come in handy. :)

Now all we have to do is wait until some time after the 15th; which is apparently the approximate date Optus plan to do our installation. They haven’t contacted us to confirm anything yet so we’re still waiting… I’m so impatient. I want fast internet; now. :P
