Always living in the final hour.

I swore this year, I was going to be one of those model student type people. You know the people, the ones that always do all their assigned work and turn up to classes! I’ve been doing the whole turning up to classes thing, even though it’s killing me to get up so early every morning, however… even though I’m there… I’m so bad when it comes to taking decent notes in lectures! Especially at 9am. So I just bought an iTalk on eBay! It’s an attachment that allows me to record stuff to my iPod. If I record my lectures; I’ll be able to listen to them again when I’m a little more alert and can actually concentrate on the subject matter. It’s gotta beat me pouring through incomplete lecture scribble a few days before exams and having no idea what the hell I was actually making notes about! That and I like gadgets. University is such a good justification for such purchases. :)

wow. That thing is cool. But what does it do other than that? I like how it looks though. School is fun. At first I thought that picture was supposd to be a sewing machine.

That’s cool :D I wanted to get something like that for my ipod as well, but now I use my laptop to take notes so I don’t think I need it. Hope it helps you :D

That’s such a good idea for you to record your lectures. I’ve thought of doing that a few times. I hope it works well for you! Lectures at 9am are rough! I can’t stand to sit there and listen in a class of 200something people or more, haha.

That is probably one of the best ways to make sure that you’ve got exactly what the teacher says, as opposed to notes you tried to scribble away while s/he went on at their own pace.

Now you can go ahead and sleep during class worry free ;) ahah.

Ugh, I ALWAYS tell myself that I’m going to “do so well this semester, and take super good notes & get A’s on all my tests!”. But then that never happens, because I realize what a hassle school really is. *headdesk*

That’s a good idea - I’ve thought about recording my lessons once, but then I thought that I’m talking to my neighbours way too much to hear anything else on the tape afterwards xP Well, I’m going to England for a year in September, and if I don’t want to do an extra eam if I come back, I have to improve my average…duh.
