If hope is a song I guess it’s all over.

Being as bored as I am sitting at home with not much to do, I started to flick through one of my little sisters teenage girl magazines. I use to read these magazines; from what I remember they use to talk about makeup, dodgy boy bands & had an endless supply of stupid quizzes such as “how to tell if he’s THE ONE!@Q$@#”

How times have changed! To my absolute horror… I kid you not; I came across an article entitled “LOOK CUTE ON MYSPACE!” Yes, this magazine had actually dedicated an entire page on how to “look totally cute” for myspace pictures. What is the world coming to?!

How about telling the kids that there are weird people on myspace; and remind them to perhaps use a little discretion and caution with what they post on the internet! As if people like my sister should be encouraged to post “candid” & “totally cute” pictures of themselves on their profiles.

The media really does do my head in sometimes…

Aww, well if the pedo’s don’t know what you look like, how will they know which one you are when they pull up outside the school you listed on your profile under the state/city/country?

Exactly. What would they do if they couldn’t stalk stupid children online? They’d have to go get jobs and then where would they be?

Ah… Yah, ok. It is a pretty disturbing article title. I’m just trying to work out why they would actually write that sort of article. Is that the new expected “norm”, for teens on myspace, etc? Is it so they can boost their egos with the number of “OmG! you look so cute!” comments on their myspace page?

Eh, what would I know? I’m just some guy in his mid-20s.
