I’m going to have a busy weekend, starting with Pirates of Penzance, a performance a couple of my friends are in on Thursday night, put on by The Redcliffs Musical Society. I’m going to Sally and Steve’s deb on Friday night, bound to be even more fun, especially how Sarz will be there for Kez’s debut and Laura is singing. Then there’s Loz’s 17th Birthday celebrations on Saturday night! Should be good fun, I’m going to be stuffed come Sunday though. ;)
My room’s getting to the point where the mess is beginning to bother even me. I think, tomorrow, I may possibly clean it. After I procrastionate, and do some homework, maybe, if I can be bothered doing anything.
My computer store had a massive sale and stuff today, so as well as super bargains, Mr. Computer man, who’s always been pretty awesome to us, (ie. putting up with me yelling at him about the absence of lappy top) gave us a 32mb storage device, a whole bunch of CD-RW’s, and a media card reader, pretty swishy. I also got a new printer today (only cause it was like $40 cheaper than usual), and I gave dad my old one. If you squint at the picture hard enough, you can see it on my bed! Rock! It also scans and copies, pretty cool. Hehe I spent today seting up my parents new computer (picking it up was the reason we were actually in the computer place anyway) … backing stuff up and transfering stuff is sooooooo damn boring.
Anyway. Must remember to aquire a powerboard from somewhere. I’ll have to hunt around at mum and dad’s next time I’m there. Phone charger, lamp, electric blanket, digi cam charger, printer, lappy…. etc. etc. I simply do not have enough power points in my bedroom for all my modern conveniences!
My latest attempt at saving money. I figure, maybe if I can’t get to it, I can’t spend it. Well it’s nice in theory. Let’s see how long this lasts… ;)
After much pain, & endless turmoil, I present you with the latest product of what I’ve dubbed “holiday boredom.” After almost a year of procrastination, and 4 days of yelling really loudly and almost ripping my hair out at various perl modules that weren’t functioning as intended, I give you photos.nadinerine.com. Yes. A new photo gallery, complete with over 200 photos that took light years to upload on my dialup connection. I was considering passwording the whole thing, not unlike the last gallery I had, but for now have decided against it for accessibility purposes. Although in the future I may consider passwording certain albums.
Anyway, I’ll most likely post about it here whenever I add photos. Which will hopefully be quite a regular occurance… enjoy. :)
