So. I like my VCE results. Particularly my Information Processing and Management results, with which I topped my school… :D I’m one very happy girl.
Unit 3/4 VCE Results tomorrow…
Remember the whole burning my hands the day before my IP & M exam incident? Well today I recieved a letter from the VCAA, my application for a Derived Exam Score was approved. Now, that’s a weight off of my shoulders. :D Now just have to sit tight and continue waiting for my results…
I didn’t slice an absolutely huge chunk out of one of my fingers on the door of my locker 10 minutes before the literature exam yesterday… I didn’t then proceed to spend the first 30 minutes of the literature exam staring blankly at the passages, and nursing my hand as my finger unrelentingly bled.
Oh, and I’m not a bad liar.
It’s just started bleeding again, damn it, it hurts. :(
One exam to go! Literature. Shouldn’t be anything too drastically hard.
Pondering comepleted exams… I’ve come to several conclusions. Biology was okay. IP & M was dodgy as my hand hurt the entire time & English, well, I can’t have stuffed that one up too badly. I think today’s math methods exam went almost as well as Monday’s effort (33%) on the chemistry exam. :D I think I’m actually going to have to buckle down and do some work next year…
Who else, besides from me, would burn both their hands the day before a VCE exam? I am such a fucking idiot.
Last night, Nan, in a biddy old lady phase, left the hotplate on the stove on before she went out. Anyway, I didn’t realise and placed a metal tray upon said hot plate and picked up the tray 15 minutes later. I’m not going to tell Nan, she’ll just get upset and blame herself…
So anyway. The burns aren’t that bad, they’re fairly small and only 1st degree. But they are on the palms of my hands and they are sore. Now I have fake skin stuff and a medical certificate… I doubt it’s going to help.
Icky important year 12 exam at 3pm. I’m screwed…
From memory, I’ve actually “misplaced” my exam timetable for next week. (Red indicates a very important year 12 exam, and to make me feel guilty for the lack of studying for it…)
Monday - Chemistry, 9.15am.
Tuesday - Information Processing and Management, 3pm.
Wednesday - English, 11.30am.
Thursday - Math Methods, 2.00pm.
Friday - English Literature, not too sure of time.
Then enrollments and subject selections on the 17th and then I’m free of any such “school commitments” until next year! It’s bliss just thinking of all the “nothing” I’m going to be doing for the next two months!
